Truth be told I read a lot of “about us” sections on other boutique websites. They were very sweet and inspiring. They showed beautiful pictures of their families. And then I thought to myself yeah that’s not me. I grew up old school and I still carry those old school work your booty off values today. I was the chubby chick in school, and I dressed weird partially because it was the 80s but partially because I hated looking like everybody else. So I did weird things to my clothes, I was never one for following the crowd. Anyway, I’m blabbering. I am over 50 now, time has flown by and life hasn’t exactly worked out the way I had planned. I’m widowed, and had to start all over again. So after a pretty good pity party, I picked myself up and rebuilt my life according to my rules. I am finally doing what I’ve always wanted to do. Yeah, I drink too much rum sometimes, Yeah I cuss a lot, but Yeah I have a blast and laugh every single day with my Drunken Squirrels. Never be afraid to express yourself, never give up, and never let anyone else hold the pen when writing the story of your life!
